Kimberly Zanders Scales

Greetings,

Kimberly Z Scales was born in New Orleans, La. She attended John Ehret High School where she discovered her love & career interest in the beauty industry at a young age. She loved doing hair in high school and was very excited to take her skills further. She later went to school to complete a cosmetology license and later went back for a Natural Hair and Barbering license. While working in her dream job as a stylist she wanted to further her skills in teaching. So what did she do? She later pursued her vision as an educator; becoming a  Licensed  Cosmetology & Barbering Instructor. Mrs. Scales has worked as a Cosmetology and Barber Instructor for Aveda, Paul Mitchell, Louisiana Technical College, and Ray J's College of Hair, and Career Center CTE Cosmetology teacher; helping to encourage her students in their career goals. After teaching, she found many students needed something to connect them further with career opportunities. What was it? She founded Louisiana Stylist Web Page that would connect Local stylists with other stylists and salons in the area to promote their business to clients. After getting married and moving to North Carolina she wanted to continue her concept & vision plan while still furthering her education in Business Administration/ Employment Development and career training of Beauty  School students and Launched ncbeautynetwork.com
